Limited buying interest and a fall in domestic sponge iron prices have lowered price indications for pellet, as per sources. SteelMint’s current assessment for pellet (Fe 63%) stands at INR 13,550/t, exw-Bellary-lower by INR 200/t compared to the last assessment on 15 Jun’21. Pellet sponge (P-DRI) prices in Bellary have declined by INR 400/t w-o-w.
