Falling bids and decline in sponge iron offers are weighing on pellet prices. SteelMint’s assessment for Bellary iron ore pellet (Fe 63%) currently stands at INR 12,000/t as against INR 12,400-12,500/t exw on 2 Jul’21.
- A confirmed trade was heard for 2,000 t which was concluded at INR 12,000/t exw
- A couple of days back, another confirmed trade for about 4000 t was heard concluded at INR 12,400/t exw.
- Bellary pellet prices are hovering at three-month low levels, as per SteelMint reports.
