The induction furnace rebar market witnessed a sharp correction in prices today in different regions. Purchase enquiries and transactions had been observed at low levels in the spot market over the last few days. Consistent correction was seen in raw material (sponge iron and billet) prices. Buyers are less active in procuring material at current prices and have adopted a wait-and-watch policy.
