Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) has scheduled an auction for 71,900 t of chrome ore on 19 Aug’25, with the offered volume down slightly by 1,200 t m-o-m. Parallelly, prices of all grades were raised by 1% (INR 50-293/t). The slight hike is likely due to the recent uptick in ferro chrome prices, which was fuelled by higher offers from suppliers amid limited material availability.
