India’s leading aluminium producer has raised the price of P1020 (99.7%) ingots by INR 2,500/tonne (t) ($30/t), effective 24 August, 2024, compared to the previous day. This adjustment brings prices to a two-month high, last seen on 11 June. Balco’s new price is INR 249,500/t ($2,976/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on the LME were priced at $2,533/t.
