India’s primary aluminium producer has increased ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 5,500/t ($65/t) today in comparison with 7 Aug’24 levels. Balco’s prices are at INR 227,500/t ($2,707/t). All prices are ex-works and exclude GST. At the time of reporting, aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,300/t, up by $40-50/t d-o-d.
