Bharat Aluminium Company Limited (BALCO), one of the leading Aluminium producers in the state of Chhattisgarh, is conducting auction for sale of different lots of MS, CI scrap & machine items from its plant located in Korba, Chhattisgarh.
BALCO has invited bids through its tender cum e-auction for sale of various Scrap, Aluminum & other electrical items. The company intends to sell a bulk of these items on 08 & 09 May’15.
All material will be available in different lots at BALCO’s plant located in Korba, Chhattisgarh. The material will be available strictly on ‘As is Where is’ and ‘No Complaint’ basis. It mainly includes various workshop machinery, mixed MS scrap, SS scrap, Cast iron scrap, Compressor scrap, Aluminium Dross and other materials.
Total Quantity offered: 33,068 MT
Scrap items: Approx 1,800 MT
Aluminum items: Approx 1,100 MT
Important Time & Dates
- Inspection date: Between 04-08 May’15
- Tender (Bid) submission due date: 17.00 hrs IST on 08 May’15
- Online auction date: 10.30 hrs IST onwards on 09 May’15
Note: BALCO had last conducted its tender cum e-auction for sale of approx 920 MT Scrap and 700 MT Coke dust scrap on 27 Feb’15.

General Conditions:
- Material will be sold at fixed price by the seller. Also, the seller is not bound to accept the highest offer and reserves the right to reject any conditional offers.
- Buyers will be responsible for loading and lifting of the material.
- Material will be disposed of in ‘As is where is’, ‘No Complaint basis’, and ‘Wet, Dry or Rusty’ conditions.
- All taxes such as excise, sales tax, TCS or any other taxes will be charged extra at the time of delivery. Offered rate shall be exclusive rate of all taxes.
- Buyers shall not be allowed to resell any lot or part of goods.
- Purchasers for which CST is applicable will have to submit C-form at the time of lifting of material; otherwise full sales tax will be charged.
