India: Balco, Hindalco hikes aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 9,500/t ($126/t)

Bharat Aluminium Company (Balco) and Hindustan Aluminium Corporation Limited (Hindalco) have raised primary aluminium ingot (P1020 grade -99.7%) prices by INR 9,250/t ($123/t) and INR 9,500/t ($126/t).
Post revision, Balco’s effective price will stand at INR 288,750/t ($3,835/t), while Hindalco’s price will be INR 286,000/t ($3,798/t).
The prices for ADC12 will be INR 292,450/t ($3885/t) exw. The hikes are a fallout of the continuous rise in the global aluminium benchmark price.
