Balco and Hindalco have raised aluminium ingots (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by INR 14,750/t ($181/t) against 28 Sep’22. Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 217,500/t ($2,665/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 212,750/t ($2,607/t) exw and excluding GST. A sharp hike was noticed on the back of substantial improvement in LME’s future as well as spot prices amid ban on Russian base metals.
