Balco and Hindalco have decreased primary aluminium ingot (P1020, 99.7%) prices by up to INR 8,250/t ($104/t) today. The effective price of Balco stands at INR 224,500/t ($2,822/t) while that of Hindalco is at INR 224,250/t ($2,819/t). The closing price of the three-month aluminium futures on LME stood at $2,402/t on 30 Aug, down by more than $90/t d-o-d, as per data maintained by SteelMint.
