India: Balco, Hindalco cut aluminium ingot prices by INR 3,000/t

Balco and Hindalco have cut aluminium ingot (P1020 grade 99.7%) prices by up to INR 3,000/t ($37/t) on 28 Sep against prices on 24 Sep.
After revision, Balco’s effective prices stand at INR 202,750/t ($2,476/t) while Hindalco’s prices are at INR 198,000/t ($2,418/t).
The decrease in spot prices and futures by up to $25/t d-o-d could be the reason behind the price cut.
