- Balco increased primary aluminium ingots (P1020, 99.7%) prices by INR 5,750/t ($74/t) today. The effective price stands at INR 252,000/t ($3,247/t) exw.
- The three-month LME aluminium contract price was recorded at $2,832/t yesterday, up $44/t as against $2,788/t the previous trading day.
- Major operations of BALCO are in the town of Korba in Chhattisgarh, whereas its mines supplying high-grade bauxite are situated at Kawardha and Mainpat.
