India: Auto parts scrap auctions in northern region receive moderate response

In the final week of Nov’22, major auto component manufacturers in northern India held multiple auctions of HR-CR punching and CR busheling scrap.

• On 28 Nov, in Pantnagar, an Uttarakhand-based manufacturer conducted auction, at which 1,000 t of CR punching scrap was booked at INR 47,000/t exw.
• On 26 Nov, in Manesar, a Haryana-based manufacturer sold 3,700 t of CR busheling scrap at INR 43,500/t exw.
