Atul Bhatt, CMD of MECON Ltd, has been selected for the post of Chairman-cum-Managing Director of state-run steel company Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL) by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB). Bhatt, the lone candidate in the fray, succeeds P.K. Rath as RINL CMD who retired recently. Prior to assuming charge as CMD of MECON in 2016, Bhatt was Executive Director at Central PSU National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC).
