Automotive Stampings and Assemblies Limited (ASAL), an auto parts manufacturer, held an auction for 2,200 t of CR, HR busheling scrap from its Pune (Maharashtra) and Panthnagar (Uttarakhand) based plants on 23 Aug’22. As per SteelMint sources, 1,200 t of the material was booked from Pune plant at INR 47,250/t exw while 1,000 t of scrap was booked at 49,400/t exw from Panthnagar.
