Steel wire rods market saw some improvement in trades today in Raipur. Over 5,000 t of low carbon grade and 4,000 t of commercial grade wire rods deals were reported at INR 47,000-47,300/t and INR 45,800-46,300/t exw and FOR, respectively. However, some Raipur mills avoided taking bulk order and focusing on lifting of previously booked material. In Durgapur market, 2,000 t deals concluded at INR 46,500-46,700/t exw.
