India: Around 80,000 t of iron ore booked at NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auctions

NMDC Chhattisgarh received bids for around 77,400 t of iron ore on 25 Mar’26.

• Kirandul mines: 34,400-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) and 34,400-t fines (Fe 64%) were booked at base prices of INR 4,790/t and INR 4,090/t, respectively.
• Bacheli mines: 8,600-t ROM (10-150 mm, Fe 65.5%) were booked at INR 4,790/t, while 114,000-t fines (Fe 60%) remained unsold.

Prices are on FOR/FOT basis, excluding royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
