India: Around 7,000 t of sponge iron traded in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s P-DRI (FeM 80%) sponge iron price assessment fell by INR 100/t to INR 31,650/t exw-Raipur. Spot trading improved as prices dropped and amid a rebound in offers in northern region.
6,800 t of FeM 78-80% P-DRI deals were recorded, 50% of which were concluded by Odisha- and Raigarh-based plants. FeM 78% was traded at INR 31,200-31,300/t DAP, while FeM 79-80% was sold at INR 31,600-31,700/t on exw and DAP Raipur basis.
