India: Around 60,000 t of iron ore booked at NMDC Chhattisgarh’s auctions

NMDC Chhattisgarh’s iron ore auctions on 10 Jan’26 saw 57,600 t booked.

• Bacheli mines: 4,000-t sized lumps (10-20 mm, Fe 65.5%) booked at 9.5% premium (INR 4,740/t base); 17,200-t DR CLO (Fe 67%) at 14% premium (base price INR 5,190/t); 12,900-t ROM (Fe 65.5%, 10-150 mm) booked at 1.3% premium; 68,100-t fines (Fe 64%) remained unsold.
• Kirandul mines: 23,500-t (Fe 64%) fines booked at base price INR 3,930/t.

Prices exclude royalty, DMF, and NMEDT.
