India: Around 330,000 t of iron ore booked in Karnataka auctions

334,000 t of iron ore were booked at Karnataka-based auctions on 14-16 Mar’26.

• SKMEPL: 36,000-t fines (Fe 63.01%) at INR 5,630/t; 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 56.60%) at INR 4,200/t.
• NMDC Kumaraswamy: 80,000-t fines (Fe 59.51-61.83%), 48,000-t CLO (10-40 mm, Fe 61.31-63.15%), 4,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 57.42%) at INR 2,695-3,209/t, INR 3,638-5,027/t, and INR 2,935/t, respectively.
• KSMCL: 82,000-t fines (Fe 60.58-61.58%) and 80,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.36-63.45%) at INR 3,154-3,496/t and INR 4,441-4,728/t, respectively.
• SKMEPL’s prices include taxes, while KSMCL and NMDC’s exclude taxes.
