India: Around 240,000 t of iron ore to be auctioned from Karnataka

Karnataka-based miners will auction 236,000-t iron ore.

• NMDC Kumaraswamy (22 Dec): 40,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 59.92%), 72,000-t fines (Fe 58.56-59.33%).
• NMDC Donimalai (23 Dec): 40,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55%), 40,000-t fines (Fe 55%).
• BKG Mining (23 Dec): 26,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 40-62.5%) and 6,000-t fines (Fe 40%) at base prices INR 470-4,306/t and INR 670/t, respectively.
• Vedanta (20 Dec): 12,000-t lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 49.5-50%).

All prices include royalty, DMF, and NMEDT, except Vedanta’s.
