India: Around 140,000 t of iron ore booked in Karnataka auctions

• NMDC Donimalai: 40,000-t lumps (10-40mm, Fe 55%), 40,000-t fines (Fe 55%) booked at INR 2,860 and INR 2,549/t respectively .
• Vedanta: 8,000-t Silicious lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 48%) at INR 2,250/t and 12,000-t Hematite lumps (6-20 mm, Fe 53.5%) at INR 3,770/t.
• SMIORE: 14,000 t (5-20 mm, Fe 54.5-55.5%) at INR 3,355-3,872/t , 15,000 t (20-40 mm, Fe 55.6-56.5%) at INR 3,814-4,465/t, and 8,000 t (10-40 mm, Fe 56.4-56.5%) of lumps at INR 4,104-4,121/t.
