- NMDC held an iron ore (Fe59-61%) auction on 16 July from its Donimalai mines. The entire quantity of 148,000 t of lumps and 452,000 t of fines was booked.
- In another NMDC’s auction from Kumaraswamy mines, out of the total 680,000 t on offer, 670,000 t were booked.
- BKG Mining held a 127,000 t-iron ore (both fines and lumps, Fe46-60.20%) auction from Sandur mines on 15 July. Only 7,000 t of lumps were booked at INR 1,950-3,530/t while fines remained unsold.
