The commissioning of the coke oven batteries of NMDC’s Nagarnar steel plant in Chhattisgarh is going to start from Apr’22. As per the timeline of the whole commissioning package, the first coke pushing of battery no. 1 will start from 16 April and the second coke oven pushing will start from 16 May. The combined capacity of the two ovens at the 3 mnt/year plant is around 1.7 mnt.
