India: APL Apollo to raise pipe prices by INR 1,000-1,500/t ($13-20)

India’s leading producer of structural steel tubes and sections – APL Apollo Tubes Limited is planning to increase pipe prices by INR 1,000-1,500/t w.e.f 16th Nov’20, SteelMint learned from industry sources. Meanwhile, current offers for base grade (25-125 NB, 2.2-8mm thickness) are at INR 48,750/t (ex-Mumbai) and INR 46,000/t (ex-Raipur). The company has the capacity to produce 2.6 mn t pa tubes and sections.
