APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has increased pipe price by INR 500/t to INR 48,000/t ($649) FoR in Chattisgarh w.e.f today, SteelMint learned from industry sources. Meanwhile, current offers for base grade (25-125 NB, 2.2-8mm thickness) are assessed at INR 50,250/t (ex-Mumbai) and INR 50,000/t (ex-Delhi). The company has the capacity to produce 2.6 mn t pa tubes and sections.
