India’s largest producer of structural steel tubes – APL Apollo Tubes Limited, has increased pipe price by INR 2,000/t to INR 51,000/t ($690) FoR in Chhattisgarh w.e.f today, SteelMint learned from industry sources. Meanwhile, the current offer for base grade (25 – 125 NB, 2.2 – 8 mm thickness) is assessed at INR 53,250/t (ex-Mumbai) and INR 53,000/t (ex-Delhi). The company has the capacity to produce 2.6 mn t pa tubes and sections.
