Demand of API-grade coils remains subdued in India as pipe-makers, who already have sufficient inventories, are waiting for projects to be finalised, sources informed SteelMint. Moreover, the absence of firm offers from South Korea amid the recent typhoon have made buyers watchful. Indicative offers of X70 coils from China stand at $850/t while those from South Korea are at $835/t, both on CFR Kandla basis.
