Aluminium tense scrap prices saw a downward correction of INR 1,000/t d-o-d on 16 Mar’22 amid uncertainty in the market. Volatile sentiments prevailed and domestic premium ingot prices were reduced by a couple of primary producers. However, a slight improvement was noticed in the three-month futures contract prices today, although trade volumes remained low. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 175,000/t exy Delhi, excluding GST.
