Aluminium tense scrap prices rose by INR 1,000/t d-o-d on 17 Mar’22 on supportive future contract prices. A few sellers slightly increased their offers considering LME, SHFE and MCX exchange prices. Meanwhile, transactions remained limited due to the festive mood. Most of the participants expect that near-term prices may see an upward trend. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 176,000/t exy Delhi, excluding GST.
