Aluminium scrap prices of specific grades remained supported while prices of other grades stayed firm on a d-o-d basis, as per SteelMint assessment. Market players, mostly sellers, have suddenly raised their offers for utensil (by INR 5,000/t) and extrusion scrap following the rise in primary aluminium ingot prices by up to INR 11,300/t. On the other side, utensil manufacturers have turned cautious to bid for scrap due to higher offers, SteelMint learned.
