India: Aluminium scrap prices rise by up to INR 4,000/t w-o-w

India’s aluminium scrap prices increased w-o-w amid material shortage for all the premium grades in the domestic market. BigMint’s assessment of tense scrap ex-Delhi stood at INR 184,000/t, while it was INR 185,000/t ex-Chennai, both regions witnessing a rise of INR 4,000/t w-o-w. Scrap shortage has led to the price of ADC12 rising up to INR 217.000-220,000/t recently in both regions.
