Domestic aluminium scrap prices were rangebound today. Tense scrap prices were at INR 190,500/t ex-Delhi, up INR 1,500/t w-o-w. LME futures rose by 0.88% to $2,590/t. Supply tightness and the hike in imported Tense prices from the USA and Middle East drove prices into positive territory in the domestic market, leading Tense sellers to offer premiums of INR 1,000-2,000/t to manufacturers.
