Aluminium scrap prices in India stayed steady on 2 Mar’23, with tense priced at INR 161,000/t ($1,950/t) and utensils at INR 172,000/t ($2,083/t) exy, excluding GST. LME futures rose by 2.47% to $2,431/t, but prices remained unchanged. Sources noted a rise in the supply of tense in the northern region market, suggesting that primary players may soon reduce prices owing to fluctuations in the exchange market.
