Aluminium tense scrap prices remained range-bound d-o-d at INR 175,500/t ex-Delhi. London Metal Exchange (LME) futures stood at $2,660/t. In the imported segment, zorba prices moved up, with offers of Europe origin at over $2,150/t. Following production cuts during the monsoon, inventory clearance is stabilising, reflecting an increase in aluminium demand. This trend is expected to drive up prices.
