India’s aluminium scrap market prices remained stable towards the end of the week, with a slight shortage of tense scrap and primary player increasing prices. Tense scrap prices reached INR 180,000/t, while utensil scrap stood at INR 172,000/t ex-Delhi. USA-origin aluminium talk was heard procured at 53.5% LME cash price CIF west coast recently. LME future prices fell slightly by 0.5% to $2,290/t at the time of reporting.
