India: Aluminium scrap prices range-bound d-o-d

India’s domestic aluminium scrap prices remained range-bound d-o-d today.
Prices of tense grade scrap were at INR 162,000/t ($1,956/t) and utensil grade at INR 172,000/t ($2,076/t), both exy and excluding GST.
Sources informed that there has been selling pressure in the market. Sellers are ready to sell material even on discounts. Thus, prices may go down in the near term.
