Aluminium scrap prices saw divergence across grades. Market participants have varied opinions about the future price trend considering high fluctuations in exchange prices despite declining stocks at LME warehouses, SteelMint learnt. Most trade channels said that prices have contracted beyond the expectations. A few participants are anticipating a slight recovery in the near term while buyers, on the other hand, expect a slight downward correction considering the trend of LME three-month prices.
