Aluminium scrap prices improved by INR 1,000/t on the recovery in LME futures d-o-d. However, MCX and SHFE futures remained on slightly lower side compared to the previous trading session. Trade channels told SteelMint that current LME futures prices have bottomed out and considering negligible changes from the last couple of weeks, they anticipate near-term prices to remain at the same levels.
