Aluminium tense scrap prices edged up d-o-d to INR 175,000/t ex-Delhi. LME futures increased to $2,517/t, reflecting a 1.8% rise from the previous close of $2,471/t. Despite the price increase, local market activity remained subdued due to ongoing festive celebrations. However, trade activities are expected to pick up in the near term when demand strengthens before Diwali.
