Aluminium scrap prices remained weak despite the recovery in exchange prices on a d-o-d basis. The market witnessed limited transactions amid price variations as a few sellers have lowered their offers while some others have even floated discounts. However, buyers are hopeful of price stability and expect that tight supply will ease in the near term. Aluminium tense scrap prices are assessed at INR 162,000/t ($2,093/t), exy Delhi, excluding GST.
