Aluminium scrap prices in India remained stable on 1 Mar’23 d-o-d. Prices of tense were recorded at INR 161,000 t ($1,952/t) and utensils at INR 172,000/t ($2,085/t) exy excluding GST. Prices continued to remain stable despite increase in LME futures by 0.42% to $2,373/t. Market participants showed limited buying interest and awaiting Maruti’s price announcements for ADC12 which may change the price trend of domestic scrap.
