India’s domestic aluminium scrap prices remained stable despite a marginal 0.11% drop in LME futures, while semi-finished prices remained steady. Tense scrap prices were recorded at INR 161,000/t ($1,945/t), while utensil grade prices were at INR 172,000/t ($2,078/t), both ex-yard and excluding GST. Furthermore, the recent price hike in semis by primary players did not affect scrap prices in the domestic market.
