Domestic prices of alloy steel round bars of grades EN-8/C45 (110-150 mm) and EN-8/C45 (160-200 mm) rose by INR 2,500/t w-o-w to reach INR 65,000/t ($723/t) and INR 68,500/t ($762/t) ex-works, respectively, as assessed on 7 Jan’26. The market witnessed positive sentiments, supported by balanced supply and demand, with sentiment improving since last week. M-o-m, too, prices recorded an upward movement.
