Alang’s shipbreaking scrap prices increased marginally by INR 200/t, d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. HMS (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 36,200-36,300/t. Attachment scrap prices stand at INR 37,200-37,300/t. A healthy volume of semi-finished steel transactions yesterday lifted scrap offers today and a few deals have been heard concluded, trader sources informed SteelMint.
