Shipbreaking melting scrap prices in Gujarat’s Alang market moved down slightly today. Heavy Melting Scrap (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 38,100/t, while attachment scrap prices stand at INR 39,100/t. Marginal correction in semi-finished steel prices yesterday resulted in the nominal correction in scrap offers today, SteelMint notes.
