Alang’s shipbreaking melting scrap prices recovered by INR 200/t, d-o-d, as per SteelMint assessment. Heavy Melting Scrap (80:20) prices are assessed at INR 35,900-36,000/t, while attachment scrap prices have been reported at INR 36,900-37,000/t. A few transactions have happened in the local Bhavnagar market today despite limited semi-finished steel transactions till the previous day’s closing, as per SteelMint reports.
