Scrap prices at Alang ship breaking scrap yard moved up by INR 400/t d-o-d owing to limited operational activities by plots close to 40% due to unavailability of workforce as well as lack of oxygen supply. Current melting scrap HMS 80-20 trade reference price is assessed at INR 24,500/t exw and excluding GST.
