Pellet-based sponge iron (FeM 80%) prices in Karnataka’s Bellary inched down by INR 100/t while lumps based DRI(CDRI) prices dropped by INR 150/t on 2 Sept’22.
- PDRI deals of 4,200 t were concluded at INR 32,800-33,000/t exw against offer at INR 33,200/t exw.
- CDRI prices stand at INR 34,000/t exw and around 3,800 t deals were reported today.
- Falling offers have resulted in improvement in spot trades as there was limited bookings by plants in last few days.
