India: About 5,000 t of sponge iron sold in Raipur, Chhattisgarh

SteelMint’s price assessment for sponge P-DRI (FeM 80%) fell by INR 300/t to INR 35,000/t exw Raipur. Prices remain under pressure as orders are aligned with sellers’ sentiments, resulting in price correction amidst decline in billet offers.
About 5,000 t of deals of FeM 80% material were reported at around INR 34,900-35,000/t exw, while offers from plants based outside the state for FeM 78% material were reported at INR 34,800-900/t FOR Raipur.
